Healing is natural.
Whenever I cut my finger, I bleed, thereby cleansing the wound. Then blood starts to coagulate and the wound, over time, closes up. Sometimes a scar remains, but not always. The body was created with an ability to heal and to defend itself. However, sometimes the attacker is too strong and sickness results, whether of the body, mind or spirit. The environments we are exposed to are not always conducive to health. I have had many instances in my life where the onslaught was stronger than my ability to cope and resist. I have fallen prey to sicknesses of the body and soul. However, I have come to believe that I can draw on a power so much greater than that of my human abilities. I do so through prayer to my Creator, the One who fashioned this incredible self-healing machine. According to my oncologists’ prognosis almost two years ago, I should not be here today, but here I am…still praying, still bleeding when I’m cut, still healing. I pray the same for you.
